Hands-on Workshop

Vibe Coding, Done Properly

Turn a business problem or idea into a deployed application in 3 hours.

You won't need to master three tools — you'll use just enough of each, and I'll bring the know-how for steering the AI so what you build holds together.

From Idea to Production

A Structured Path, Not Just Quick Code

You'll take an idea all the way from concept to a live application — with design, documentation, version control, and deployment built in from the start, guided by me so you don't have to figure out the engineering yourself.

Problem

Define the business problem or idea

Use Claude Code as your AI partner

GitHub

Version control. Collaborate. Iterate.

Vercel

Solution

Deployed application solving real problems

Have an Idea — But Don't Code?

  • Have an idea for an application but don't know how to code?
  • Frustrated by a manual process, spreadsheet, or business problem that you wish had a simple software solution?
  • Curious about AI-assisted software development but unsure where to start?

This hands-on workshop is designed for non-developers who want to use modern AI tools to build real applications without becoming software engineers.

In just three hours, you'll learn how to work with AI as your development partner — taking an idea from concept through design, development, version control, and deployment. By the end of the session, you'll have a working application running in the cloud and a practical understanding of how AI is changing software creation.

Unlike many "vibe coding" demonstrations that focus on generating code as quickly as possible, this workshop takes a structured approach. You'll pick up lightweight design, documentation, version control, and deployment practices that help ensure what you build can be maintained and improved over time.

And you won't need to learn Claude Code, GitHub, or Vercel in depth — you're not expected to. We do just enough setup to connect the tools together securely, and I bring the part that normally takes engineering experience: knowing how to direct the AI so what you build is solid and safe, not just quick. That's what lets you get a real result in three hours.

No programming experience is required.

What You'll Learn

A Modern AI-Powered Workflow

We'll use a modern AI-powered development workflow built around three tools. You'll learn the small slice of each that takes an idea to a live app — not become an expert in any of them:

Claude Code

AI-assisted application development

GitHub

Version control and project management

Vercel

Cloud deployment

You'll learn how to:

  • What vibe coding and agentic coding are, and where they fit
  • How AI can help transform ideas into working software
  • When AI-generated applications are appropriate — and when they aren't
  • How to define and structure a problem before building
  • How to direct Claude Code so it builds something solid — the skill I bring to the session
  • How to document requirements and design decisions
  • How to save and track your work in GitHub — just the essentials
  • How to publish your app to the web with Vercel in a few clicks
  • Common pitfalls and practical lessons learned from real-world projects
Workshop Format

Three Hours. One Deployed App.

Hour 1

Foundations and Setup

  • What vibe coding is
  • The opportunities and limitations of AI-assisted development
  • How to think about software design as a non-developer
  • Doing the minimal setup to connect Claude Code, GitHub, and Vercel together securely — guided, so it takes minutes, not days
  • How to direct Claude Code so it builds well
  • Choosing a project idea
Hours 2–3

Build and Deploy

  • Define a business problem or idea
  • Create a lightweight design
  • Build an application with Claude Code
  • Manage the project in GitHub
  • Deploy the application to Vercel
  • Share and test results

By the end of the workshop, you'll have a deployed application and a repeatable process you can use again.

What You'll Leave With

You Won't Leave With a Coding Certificate.

You'll leave with something more useful:

A working deployed application
A practical AI-assisted development workflow
Experience using Claude Code, GitHub, and Vercel together
The confidence to build your next application independently
A better understanding of how AI is changing software development
Access to 11 videos recorded to support each of the steps we cover

Because the best way to understand AI-assisted development is to build something real.

Ready to Build Something Real?

Bring an idea, leave with a deployed application — and a workflow you can use again and again.
